Mystery of the Soap-Chewing Marks

Last Sunday, I was supposed to dispose a lizard carcass that my Dad step on in the bathroom while rushing out for his next appointment. Thus, I went into the bathroom and did what is necessary and I found "mini" size shit on the toilet seat. Wasn't suspicious initially so I just washed off the shit and clean up the lizard carcass.

The following day, Mom asked me, "Why did you throw your bath-soap behind the washing-machine?" And I was like, "Huh? Whose in the right mind to do that? And what sort of question is that? I'm not like 3 years old mar... " *Strange*

Yet another day, we found another soap bar in the kitchen has the chewing marks and there were lots of shit everywhere around the kitchen, storeroom & bathroom area!! Oh gosh.. Dad said it's confirmed the "pesty-rodent" at work!

Dad went out to get a trap and started the investigation. Nothing was discovered the next morning but more shit everywhere around the house especially living area and it went all the way up to my upstairs toilet. EEuuwwhh... it's disposed were everywhere right at the bathroom door that is facing my bedroom door.

On Friday morning, Dad noticed his freshly-baked bread already got lots of chewed-marks at one end of the loaf and somehow, it chew it's way into the bread by chewing the plastic wrapper that my Dad placed the bread in. Gosh... I had actually taken 1 slice of the bread the day before. *Phui-Phui* Hope I don't get sick with it... So, we decided to keep the loaf of bread as bait for the rodent.

This morning, thank God... our mystery solved! We had a small rat in the trap with all its dispose by the floor... (Click Here for a Short Video Clip : D'Soap-Chewy Rat)

Ahaaaaaaaa. So it was he who was eating up the soap. Well at least you managed to catch him before he chews up everything else in the house - can be quite dangerous if they started chewing on wires.

Yeah! Luckily, there were lots of food for it to feast on & so far have not check the wires ;(

Better let my dad knows about this to ensure... TQ.
