Mission 2 catch d'Sunrise

Working in Singapore don't enjoy many days of public holidays in a year. This week with the long Raya weekends; I thought of catching the sunrise in some places nearby as this year, I've moved to the North-West of Singapore and there are many places I've never been to at this part of Singapore.

Day 1 (15 June 2018):
Woke up early; 4.30am and hop on to a bus towards Kranji and 20minutes later luckily the bus-driver reminded me to get off before the bus left to a different destination. Managed to rent an Ofo-bike from the bus-stop. Almost 1hour of slow and bumpy ride thru an industrial zone in-search of the destination, I finally found sign-boards to the reservoir. Mission to cycle to Kranji Reservoir achieved with a scary experience! Sadly, weather was too cloudy to sight the sunrise. But, I'm all cheerful for an adventure...

Day 2 (16 June 2018):
Rustic hilly terrain cycling of 5km (short distance but my claves' muscle challenged!)… I'm currently staying in Hillview with lots of hilly terrain everywhere and also, lots of reserved-forestry and parks to venture around Bukit Timah district if the heart and mind chooses to do so. It tends to be lonely just venturing into this kinda farm or park but I've lots of time trying to position my phone to take selfie. Hehehe... Just do not mind other people who may be walking by and looking at me strangely...

Found 大牛 (big🐮) and 小牛 (small 🐮). Both grumpy Moo!! Tracking on my two feet for 1km.

Day 3 (17 June 2018):
45 minutes of waiting for the sunrise from the comfort of my balcony... Photography needs lots of patience. No cycling today; just going to rest my aches with a good book... Happy Father's Day to all my 👬 friends that has become dad.

Siem Reap, Cambodia

Yen Lin invited me on an impromptu trip to Siem Reap on 13th - 16th April 2018 because her husband was not able to join her due to visa issue. I just had to purchase a return-flight ticket and accommodation was sponsored. I looked forward to the trip since I have never been here and luckily, I do not have to plan anything or think much on packing since weather is not a concern. An archaeology visit to one of the UNESCO world heritage site. Angkor stretches over 400km2, includes forested area, archaeological park contains the magnificent remains of different capitals of the Khmer empire...

We have to get up early; 3.30am to prepare and get ready for the tuk-tuk to send us to the site and in the dark with a torch-light; walked into the dark-unknown and find a spot to wait for the sunrise and while eating our packed breakfast, we have to watch out the nearby monkeys don't come to snatch our breakfast. Hahaha...
