New Toy

After several months, browsing thru the shops, I had finally decided on getting the less expensive and common in the market instead of the sophisticated-brand. Just in case, if I had to go all the way to KL city just if it may one day break-down when its still during the warranty period, that will be too much of a hassle for me who don't favor going to KL city that much in a year. *grin*

I always make sure I read the manuals first before I start playing with any new toy in case you know, a tech-idiot like me may somehow wrongly fix it or can easily be 101 reasons, it may go wrong. Everything seems user-friendly and easy on the manuals.

It was a pretty screeching experience on my first attempt to play with it. On my second attempt, my hairs on my legs & hands actually stood up too... With the rather noisy sound that it blasted out, its not helping me much to actually ease me but what the heck, it should not be that scary-a-thought, right?

So by third attempt, "wah-lar"... it was completely fun and challenging...

More Rain Please...

I have been praying silently for the rain because my house area is so hazy for the last 2 weeks. God has been merciful and had answered my silent-voice and am I grateful that it washes off all those haze away after 2 days of rain.

Leaving the office at about 5.40pm, the rain came as I just stepped into my car, I was just in time for the rain and I guessed all the other road-users were safely working in their office thinking that rain will cause traffic and they choose to stay back. But, of course for today, its exactly the opposite of the usual daily after working hours peak traffic. So, feeling glad that the trip back home was so pleasant that I'm happily blogging away now at 6.45pm with a tummy full and after a good shower. How often can I enjoy this?? I dare not wonder or wish too much...

Today of all days, I think my best friend is kind of sick of me because I complain so much from A-Z about work, about colleagues and even about my Income Tax deduction... I know I whine too much until people who listens to me get really tired... But, I also tell myself that I will not care about the Company issues so much at heart now that I'm so disappointed with my boss's working attitude. I usually devote even my lunch time to do whatever workload I have since its always piling up but today, I actually take a break and since I was late this morning by 15 minutes, my total working hours is only 7 hours & 55 minutes. (Actual working hours is 8) Wherelse, all the other days, I always exceeded 9 hours. And I really felt more relax and awake now while blogging.

Rain is good but for this morning, it was quite bad traffic that I heard over the radio there were 3 accidents along the way that I usually take to go to work... So, rain may not always be good for everyone and every reason to be. And raining time is always the time that things happened unexpectedly too... Bottom-line; I LOVE THE RAIN... I LOVE THE SMELL OF THE RAIN... I LOVE THE SOUNDS OF THE RAIN TOO... Rain had done me good today...

Bintulu, Sarawak

Geez... I have never plan a trip as drastic as this one before. Of course, its not a vacation but for work-purpose and yet I felt that it was way to short-a-notice and most certainly a short-one too! My Deputy GM told me that we will be traveling to Bintulu, Sarawak on 31st Jan and return on 1st Feb and he told me about this on 29th Jan and the whole of this week, I had dinners with suppliers from China & Egypt that it occupied every night of mine that I only get to reach home at 11ish at night. So, this Bintulu trip really makes me feel exhausted even thinking of it...

Nevertheless, job is job... but I was blessed with an upgrade to the Executive Suite which came as a surprised and I really love the decor and dreamingly hope to have a room like this one day. It's a new Hotel so everything smells new but on the day-time, I can hear the drilling everywhere which was not too pleasant if you actually stay in bed in the day... hehehe...

The bumpy-rides on the Hilux were never pleasant and I'm pretty sure I'll get the sore-back when I get home. The mission for this trip is to have a look at the warehouses and their facilities and also to guide the contractor's staff on a few reporting.

Overall, the highlight of this trip is the many good-looking men I met and I simply love the simplicity of Bintulu... occasionally, along the roadside, I can see crane perk themselves sun-bathing their feathers which too me its amazing because I will never get to see this beautiful creature in my own hometown. My Deputy GM actually asked me if I mind to transfer to work in Bintulu and I told him with a smile, "It's will be pleasant..."
